How do I start planning a Scotland golf trip?
Start with the adviser. It asks what matters to your group, suggests a practical draft route, and explains the tradeoffs before you enquire.
About Us
Caledonia Golf helps golfers turn Scottish course inspiration into a practical trip. It is built around local knowledge, sensible geography, and a clear route before anyone starts quoting hotels and tee times.

My dad got me into golf. He is a member at Gullane Golf Club, so I grew up playing Gullane No.3, the shortest of the three courses. That is where I learned the game.
I now play out of Lundin Golf Club in Fife and Nairn Golf Club in the Highlands. Through those clubs I met a lot of overseas visitors and kept noticing the same thing. People had spent months planning and still felt like they had missed something, or ended up with a route that did not make much sense on the ground.
I have always wanted to work in golf. Building this felt like the right way to do that. The whole point is that by the time you speak to anyone about tee times or hotels, you already know what you want and feel good about the plan.
My favourite course is Royal Dornoch. It comes alive once you step onto the third tee and the Highlands is an amazing part of the world for golf. If you have not been, it should be on your list.
How it works
The site covers 97 hand-picked Scottish courses, but the value is not just the list. It is understanding which courses belong together, when a famous detour is worth it, and when a trip will feel better by staying tighter.
The adviser looks at must-plays, route shape, driving appetite, local character, and likely access before it suggests a draft. When the route feels right, your itinerary becomes a cleaner brief for specialist tour operators.

Yes. Explore remains the full course library, but the adviser turns discoveries into a route when you are ready.
It is built in Scotland by a golfer who has played more than 60 Scottish courses, so the recommendations consider geography, pace, access, and local character.
